First we would like to thank you on behalf of all those who compose the staff of Refugio Plaza de Mulas and preference for loyalty over 18 years we operate at the refuge.
For a Mendoza government decision to withdraw granting refuge to the company that hired us is that we have to continue providing our knowledge and services from the base camp, without changing our dates for trekking and expeditions.
The decision of the Government is it of using it only for the Provincial Park Rangers and of the Patrol of Rescue.
We are confident that during this time we were there we provide the best services to the mountain community, being also the only company that host the Provincial Park Rangers and the rescue team of the Police of Mendoza, which set up the Public Telephony hand Telefonica de Argentina and the Argentine Post Office to be the highest in the world.
May the road we took to keep the building in good condition which means the work at that altitude, will not be in vain.
